Reflexão dos alunos sobre o impacto da arte na valorização da horta:
The soulful garden will impact the community in a variety of ways, enhancing our schools natural environment while incorporating the memory of those we have lost. Originally, the soulful garden was a desolate space with minimal plants and overgrown with weeds. Through this project we have already begun the transformation to utilize the space to value and remind us of the beauty of our campus and community, including those no longer with us. Now our incorporation of the trees containing posts with names of members of our community that have passed along with the colorful plants and flowers has
created a space for students, teachers, and staff to appreciate and interact with nature.

O Soulful Garden é um projeto que tem vindo a ser desenvolvido ao longo do tempo e que vai ter um impacto positivo na nossa comunidade escolar. Para além de ajudar a melhorar o ambiente natural da escola, também serve para recordar e homenagear pessoas que já não estão connosco.
Quando começámos a trabalhar no jardim, havia poucas plantas e muitas ervas daninhas. No entanto, com o apoio e o esforço da comunidade escolar, conseguimos, pouco a pouco, transformá‑lo num espaço de paz e tranquilidade para todos.
Vão ser plantadas árvores com o nome de membros da nossa comunidade que já não estão entre nós, num espaço cheio de cores e flores, onde todos poderão estar, reflectir e prestar homenagem.

Memória descritiva:
We are using a variety of materials, including stones, plants, soil, flowers, fruit trees, and garden tools. The students involved are around 10 in number and range in age from Years 10 and 11.
This project incorporates knowledge from biology, along with collaboration and teamwork skills developed across all subjects, to bring the garden to life.
The garden will provide staff, parents, and students with a welcoming place to work, study, or simply chat. It will also serve as a safe and peaceful space to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. Making the area more colourful and vibrant will help create a positive atmosphere and bring a smile to everyone who visits.
